Our latest track 'Raven's Crag' has been released by Eslite Book Store as a special New Year Treat to Eslite members and those who came to our New Year's Eve performance at the book shop.

Unfinished is a musical group based in Tainan City, in the South of Taiwan, although the members come from various different countries, and brought together by shared musical interests. The band regularly performs in Tainan City at locations ranging from some of the local historical sights, such as An-Ping Fort or the Confucius Temple, to the occasional appearance at The Armory Pub.

The music we play is completely original compositions, with all of the songs we perform written by Peter Smith, from England. Peter also plays acoustic guitar and does the vocals. The current line-up includes Damien Trezise, from Australia, on violin, John Duxbury, from the USA, on drums and percussion, and Jonathan Courtenay, from England, on double bass.

Our third CD, Where Angels Fear to Tread, released in January 2011, is now available. Also featured on the CD is Rick Hazlett on trumpet and Flugel Horn, .

Our second CD, Shades of Blue, released in January 2005, is also available. Also featured on the CD are Yuri Opalev, from Russia, on tenor saxophone, and John Duxbury, from the USA, on drums, conga, bongos and percussion.

Peter's songs are rich in melody and rhythmic ideas, and are well complimented by the acoustic group sound. Influences are many and varied, from rock, to folk, to jazz. The new CD highlights a mixture of ballads and blues/swing influenced songs.

The first CD Heaven Like Water

We currently perform a selection of material from the new CD, but we are continually adding new songs from Peter's prolific output, which will compete for a place in the next CD, plus we also play some favourites from the first and second CDs.
